Yorkshire Clean Language Practise Group

Sorry folks, but I've gone and got a new job (sort of, explained better below) and so we no longer have access to the training rooms at Pinderfields Hospital.

The result is that, until further notice, there will be no meetings of the Yorkshire Clean Language Practise Group.

So what am I doing now?

Well for six months I've been on secondment to a department within the NHS called the Yorkshire Taskforce. Each region of the NHS has a Taskforce responsible for, among other things, monitoring the working hours of junior doctors.

During my secondment I was developing a computer programme (called the Yorkshire Monitor) used in this monitoring process. I've now joined the Taskforce permerantly as a software developer.

This means that I've resigned from Pinderfields and so no longer have access to their training rooms.

We were planning to take a summer break from the group anyway, but this has forced an earlier and longer break than planned.

I'm sorry for the disruption, and we hope to re-launch the group.

Warmest regards

Simon
