March sees the second birthday of the Yorkshire Practice Group. It hardly seems two years ago that the group started, but it is. In that time there have been nearly 50 meetings and despite the initial trepidation as to how the group would be received, only once have Simon and I twiddled our thumbs to a deserted room !. At the other extreme, nearly 50 of us enjoyed David's visit to Wakefield last November, and we feel very honoured that David has taken the time to visit us twice now.
So we would like to say a big Thank You for your support over the last two years.
As we enter our third year, Simon and I have given a lot of thought to the format for the group. Since starting the group, we have become conscious of the ever growing pressure on our diaries as other NLP groups have started in the area.
Accordingly, we have decided that from April we will revise the schedule for the group and meetings will now take place ONCE a month on the SECOND Wednesday.
Additionally, we will now be publishing in advance a "theme" for the meeting rather than introduce it at the time. and we plan that the "theme" will be the item for the first part of the evening, with the second session after the break being "free form" either for further practice on the topic or to work on something you may have brought with or to chatter generally on CLQ.
We also hope to publish a monthly review summing up the events of the last meeting and giving diary dates for coming meetings.
