Writing the pages

This web site was designed and written by me, Simon Stanton.

It was constructed in HTML 2, the main authoring tool I use these days is Microsoft Word 7 and the Internet Assistant. I use a text editor just to tidy up the finer bits of the HTML code.

The technology

My PC is a fairly standard machine, running Windows 95 and Word 7. The graphics were created with Xara Webster.

I also use a utility called GIF Construction Set 95 from Alchemy Mindworks.

To find all the references for the links page I used a web search tool called WebSeeker, from ForeFront.

Testing the site

The site has been tested with Netscape Navigator 2, Microsoft Internet Explorer 3, Lynx and NetManage WebSurfer 5.0, that doesn't mean that it works perfectly with every browser (it doesn't) but it does mean that I know where some of the bugs are (but I still don't know how to fix them).

If you find any bugs then let me know at fix these damn bugs, please!

The site was redesigned and updated on 2nd January 1997 and this latest redesign went live on 08-FEB-98
